In this post, we will discuss the root cause for one of the common oozie exceptions and solution for this. After completion of Oozie setup, when we are submit Oozie workflows then all the jobs going into SUSPENDED status with below error message in Oozie job log files.

    Error Scenario:

Error: E0902 : E0902: Exception occured: [User: oozie is not allowed to impersonate oozie]

    Root Cause:

This error occurs when we do not specify the user names in core-site.xml file like below in HADOOP_CONF_DIR

After specifying the above two properties in core-site.xml, the hadoop daemons and yarn daemons needs to be restarted on all datanodes of the hadoop cluster. submit stop-all.sh command and start-all.sh and restart oozie server with oozied.sh stop and oozied.sh start .

I have attended Siva’s Spark and Scala training. He is good in presentation skills and explaining technical concepts easily to everyone in the group. He is having excellent real time experience and provided enough use cases to understand each concepts. Duration of the course and time management is awesome. Happy that I found a right person on time to learn Spark. Thanks Siva!!!
